I’ve got my dad to thank for instilling a love for travel. My father is a retired airline pilot from United Airlines. We all went to Denver when I was 2 years old and spent two months there while he got his initial training, and then we were able to fly to visit family, go skiing or to Hawaii any time we wanted to. I grew up with a travel kit packed at all times. I just wish I could remember how it is I was able to travel with such light luggage as when I was 5.
I’ve never forgotten my first helicopter ride in Queenstown, New Zealand. It was in June, which is winter there, so when we took off, the pilot landed on top of a snow-covered mountain in the Southern Alps. We got back into the helicopter, and instead of just taking off, the pilot hovered a few feet off the ground, then dove over the side of the mountain. If you are thinking of a rollercoaster, that is exactly what it felt like! We then went flying through a canyon just a few feet off the river and landed on a rocky shoal. Quite exhilarating! I have current destination specializations for New Zealand and Australia and would love to help you visit these two wonderful places.
I’m also highly qualified as a certified cruise specialist. I have completed expert training for Princess, Cunard, Holland America, Crysal Cruises, Uniworld, AmaWaterways, Great American Steamboat Company, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Seabourn, Silverseas, Regent Seven Seas, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. Cruising is one of the most ideal ways of seeing the world while being able to fully relax at the same time. But there are so many options. Let me help you narrow down all these choices to the perfect ship, the perfect destination at a perfectly reasonable price. After all, cruising is one of the most cost effective ways of seeing the world. If you’d like a land-tour extension, I can arrange that, too.
I am certified through the Special Needs Group to handle travel for nearly all Special Needs requirements, something I am enormously proud of. My sister has Down Syndrome, so our family has always utilized some special accommodations to assist her and this has helped me be more aware of the special needs so many people have. I have been stockpiling resources for wheelchairs and walkers, oxygen and dialysis and the rules governing service animals. If you or a family member has a special need of any kind, don't let that stop you from your dream vacation, let me help you navigate all your options and get you out into the world.
