Meet Tia

Tia Clark is a Charleston, South Carolina native. She started Casual Crabbing with Tia in 2017 when health issues led her to overhaul of her diet and lifestyle. Her "Let's Go Crabbing" experience brought her recognition as one of Airbnb's best experiences in the world. Her warm, inviting nature and fun-loving attitude bring people from all over the world to her dock for an incredibly unique, hands-on experience to remember for a lifetime.

What's Included

Casual Crabbing with Tia includes crabbing multiple ways. Participants learn to perfectly throw cast nets, fish, and try out all the techniques necessary to have a fun and safe experience. All gear and bait for the experience is provided - just bring yourself and get ready to have a good time! And yes - you get to keep your legal-sized catch of the day.

When to Go

When is the best time to go crabbing in Charleston? As Tia says “Anytime”! The excursion takes place depending on the tides of the day and is open for bookings 11 months out of the year.
