Hotel CEOs are very upbeat about occupancy rates going forward. Demand for U.S. hotels is nearly back to pre-pandemic levels and strong meeting demand are on the rise. Some hoteliers are also indicating revenue is surpassing 2019 with the booking surge in Q3 and Q4.

While U.S. borders only recently opened to international visitors, now that they are the boost in business to the U.S. from overseas is dramatic for both business travel and leisure travel.

As is the case in other sectors, staffing has been a significant concern for the hotel industry, with many properties limiting occupancy based on their ability to service guests.
