Family Cruise Vacations with Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and Mickey

Kids are quite lucky these days when it comes to vacation choices.

There are so many more options available to them and their parents than a trip to Disneyland or Disney World, though those still are great getaways!

Parents are more challenged with their busy lives to find quality time to spend with their families, let alone planning family vacations, and inclusive cruise vacations can offer them some terrific option and the best of both worlds.

Cruises have become very popular vacation choices, especially so for families. Cruises are safe and easy, because accommodations,

meals and most entertainment are all included in the package price. Kids can spend time on their own without parental supervision, because cruise ships provide the supervision, giving parents and grandparents valuable “down-time” to enjoy their vacation, too.

Disney Cruise Line offers amazing hands-on activities for kids of all ages, and feature Disney characters onboard as well as Disney production shows.

On a recent visit onboard Disney Wonder, I felt sad as I thought I didn’t have this type of family cruise vacation opportunity growing up, and that I and even my kids are now “too old” to be invited into the kids area to “play” and engage with all that was available. Disney, as we all know, does such an incredible job… and Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream have that amazing Aqua Duck watercoaster, too!

Royal Caribbean cruises has enhanced their relationship with DreamWorks, and in addition to their rock-climbing walls, ice-skating rinks, zip lines, flow riders and more onboard, there are Shrek characters and more for kids to interact with and enjoy on select ships.

These vacations make kids happy — and when kids are happy, parents are happy.

We look forward to planning your happy cruise vacation.
