After 30+ years of dreaming about an African safari to celebrate retirement, the reality surpassed our greatest imaginings. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly personable, engaging, and dedicated to ensuring our safety while sharing their native world with us. Their hospitality left us amazed at every turn. The trip was exceptional because the people are exceptional.
The accommodations were spectacular. The luxury tents were truly luxurious, offering the perfect blend of comfort and wild beauty. Every meal and beverage delighted our palates, showcasing remarkable culinary talent in the bush. Our game drives were unforgettable. They frequently left us holding our breath, completely intrigued and in awe of Mother Nature.
We were thrilled to see every single animal we had hoped to spot and more, including lion prides, cheetahs and leopards with their cubs, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hyenas, antelope, wildebeests, an incredible array of birds, and even a honey badger. Beyond the incredible wildlife, a major highlight was the opportunity to visit several local villages and meet the wonderful people living there. It was a perfect, deeply moving trip that we will cherish forever.
