Delhi & Leela Palace Resorts

My next stop in India was Delhi, and we had the privilege of visiting all of the Leela properties here.

Our first stop was the Leela Ambience Gurgaon Hotel & Residences that overlooks a nature reserve and is located near the airport. I have often had clients stay in this neighborhood when they have a one-night stay and have to overnight in Delhi before their long flight home. A big plus is that the hotel connects to the Ambience Shopping Mall for those last minute purchases. The hotel has large convention facilities and they are often used for wedding functions. They have 322 guest rooms that are comfortable and well appointed. The 90 Residences are equipped with kitchens and great for longer stays.

We were treated to Sunday Brunch at the hotel and it was the largest and tastiest brunch I have ever experienced. The selection was unbelievable and many locals come to enjoy the brunch. I highly recommend it to anyone that happens to be in Delhi on a Sunday.

After our yummy brunch, we made our way to the Leela Palace New Delhi, which is the flagship property of the Leela Palaces & Resorts. Located in the Embassy Row neighborhood, you are well located to see the sites of the city. The hotel has lovely gardens and art on display throughout the hotel.

Once you arrive, you feel content in your huge room. The starting room category is 550 square feet with a full bath and separate shower. With six different dining venues the food and service was 5-star and you want for nothing. And there is a gorgeous rooftop swimming pool that overlooks the city.

Leela has a third property in Delhi, The Leela Ambience Delhi Convention Hotel. Rated four stars, it comprises 480 guestrooms and suites. The rooms are more of a modern design, and they cater to the business traveler, but it is ideal for leisure clients because it is located near Old Delhi and the train station. The hotel has three different dining venues and one bar and as every other Leela property food is excellent.

Let me know if I can help with your arrangements India vacation.
