Fastest Train in the World Begins Service in China
The Harmony Express, China’s new high-speed train which began service just after Christmas, is now the fastest train in the world. With average speeds of over 200 miles per hour, the train completed what was an 11-hour journey between Wuhan to Guangzhou in just three hours.
China expects to have 42 more of these high speed rail lines in the coming years.
