History & Culture Through Food
How do you feel about food?
Food! Yes! We see it as much more than “that thing you eat.” It is a way to experience a country, a culture, and a people. Flavors evoke hundreds and thousands of years of history. Food is influenced by local produce and local communities. With that in mind, when you dine abroad, would you rather just eat whatever or have a richer culinary experience and perhaps dine with locals?
Consider some of the culinary experiences we can add to the trip we plan for you. Go to a home in London, Florence, Ubud, and more, and privately work with cooks to discover food through the eyes of locals.
Romuald in London will give you a tour of a local market and cook up some British dishes. Did we mention that Romuald is a Michelin-star trained chef? In Florence, you can create fresh pasta with Patrizia. In Ubud, you will have a classic Balinese plate with Dewa and Jero.
These experiences, as we said, are private. All hosts are vetted and speak English or will have a translator during your time with them. While we offered up “London, Florence, Ubud, and more,” we can arrange these experiences in over 150 locations and have over 1,000 culinary experiences. That leaves room for you to get exactly what you want.
Allow us to help you plan unique experiences for your trip.
