Is parking available near the office?
Complimentary parking is readily available at our building. We have a large parking structure within steps of our main entrance, and we validate parking for TravelStore customers.
What are your office hours? Can I walk in or do I need to schedule an appointment?
Our office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Walk-ins are welcome in our TravelStore Irvine branch office. However, we always recommend making an appointment so we can assure you a travel advisor with the expertise you need will be available.
How long has your branch office been in business?
Irvine TravelStore has been serving the local community for 20 years, while our parent company has been in business over 40 years.
Is working with a travel agent right for my trip?
Absolutely! Our travel consultants can help you wade through the mountains of information related to your quick weekend getaway or to your around-the-world dream trip. We will be your advocate from the minute we begin planning your vacation to the day you return home and beyond. If we haven’t personally experienced where you want to visit, we work with a network of travel professionals who have travelled the world and who can step in and answer any questions you may have.
Does TravelStore offer emergency support during the vacation?
We provide support throughout your trip. Prior to departure, you will be given the best contact information for local assistance at your destination as well as for overall trip support from our staff. In addition, you will have access to assistance via your mobile phone by using our Pocket Travel app
, and you also have a means to message your Travel Advisor should you need to during your trip. Our corporate travelers also are offered additional support services.
How can I get a hold of my travel agent?
You are welcome to communicate with your travel consultant in the format that is most comfortable for you… by text, email, or by telephone. For your convenience, we have consultants who are fluent in Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and French.
Do your ever host events?
We host a variety of consumer events throughout the year. Our events are held both in our office’s conference facilities, as well as in local restaurants. We have featured travel destinations such as Iceland, Morocco and Italy and have enjoyed presentations by cruise lines and tour operators. Some of our favorite co-hosts have been Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Seabourn, Hurtigruten, Tauck Tours, and the Tourist office of Spain Los Angeles. We enjoy interacting with our customers in these intimate settings and welcome curious travelers.
Do you charge separate fees for your services?
New clients are welcomed to Irvine TravelStore with a free first consultation. Our consultant will review your travel needs, the complexity of those needs, and the length of your trip. Fees will be determined and clearly disclosed before any planning begins. Our schedule of fees can be viewed here
What is your refund and travel change policy?
We follow the refund and change policies of the vendors that operate your vacation or business travel experiences. In addition, during the booking process, we ensure you are covered by assisting you in selecting the appropriate insurance coverage for your trip for future cancellation or trip interruption needs.
Do you belong to a local community group?
We are members of national travel professional organizations such as ASTA (the American Association of Travel Advisors) and CLIA (Cruise Line International Association). One of our senior consultants serves as the President of the Orange County ASTA Chapter. In addition, we are a proud member of Signature Travel Network, which is a consortium of more than 7,000 travel professionals who share one objective: to serve the unique needs of discerning travelers.
