Club Med Cancun Review

This property is well maintained and all of the public areas are beautiful. I think this is a great resort for people who want interaction from the staff and lots of sport activities included with instruction. Families with small children seemed to enjoy themselves. Single travelers were very happy with all the interaction they received and dining with someone new every day.

The SPA, a relatively new concept for Club Med, is very zen in ambience, with large treatment rooms and good services.

The Hacienda Restaurant is very nice and with its several large rooms quite like a home, along with the library, the living room etc.

The Club had fewer than 100 guests while we were there, so only one restaurant was open each day.

The food was good and there was lots of variety. The Staff is very friendly and accommodating and asked if they could sit with you at meals. I enjoyed that.

The accommodations have no elevators, and there are lots of stairs. If you want an ocean view room don’t wait to book it. The new villas are very nice with wood floors, double vanities, large sitting area, changing area and large tub. These are all oceanfront and are next to the outdoor gazebo used for massage. The villas are in their own building with their own concierge and offer room service. The standard rooms are nice and comfortable, with a small sitting sofa. Only a crib would fit in that room. Families with more than one infant would need to book adjoining rooms at this resort.

The beach is wonderful: large and clean, with butler service. Topless sunbathing.
