Las Ventanas, a Rosewood resort, is a beautiful five-star property that cries out to honeymooners and couples alike to come and enjoy. This upscale property makes a statement from the moment of arrival. The understated signage makes it clear that if one does not know how to get here, one does not belong here. There are 450 employees to serve up to 150 guests: that’s luxury.

When you enter the lobby area you are immediately aware of wonderful water features and pristine manicured grounds featuring a desert landscape theme. There are six pools to choose from and a swim-up bar at the main pool that also features swim-up tables and bar stools. The fitness center features new equipment.

Yum, let’s talk about dining: The ocean-view restaurant, simply called The Restaurant, serves all meals and competes with the C at the One & Only Palmilla for the rank of top hotel restaurant in Los Cabos. Its menu is a mix of Mediterranean and Mexican dishes. The Sea Grill, catering largely to the pool and bar crowd, serves lunch and dinner from 10 am to 10 pm in an ocean-view setting. They have the Wine Cellar, which will seat up to 16 and there is a special five-course dinner with wine pairing. This is a must reserve event each Thursday. A Full American Plan or Modified American Plan is available. You will also find the Tequila and Ceviche Bar, which is quite popular for appetizers and drinks. A beach dinner is served once a week just for guests.

Remodeling is ongoing. They are now installing flat screen televisions and new mattresses. Rooms are large and beautiful, all have fireplaces. Bathrooms are luxurious with Jacuzzi tubs and two sinks.

You are on your own to get to town, but truly who would want to leave, and if they did one trip would be enough.
