Society Islands & Tahiti Cruise
Papeete Roundtrip | 7 Nights | April 18, 2026
Travel with an Expert - Monica Saito
I learned about travel and dreaming of when I was a child in my native Chile since I had an uncle who traveled a lot; he would always tell us stories, transporting us to these faraway places. It gave me such a thrill!
I had a chance to start working for the travel industry in 1984 when I got a job as an accounting clerk to get my foot in the door. In a short amount of time, I was working as an agent! My eagerness to see the world has been a great satisfaction in my life. Traveling has taught me so much, and I love to meet people with different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions as well as the wilderness and the outdoors. Travel gives me an ongoing lesson, and I am always ready to learn.
I have been fortunate to see the most amazing places, like playing with baby seal in Galapagos, waking up to the pristine and spectacular views of Torres del Paine in Patagonia, walking down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem, and more. I am so fortunate to have visited these places and to have shared them with clients, family, and friends. Visiting and seeing the wonders of the world comprise the most precious and humbling moments of my life.
I am very familiar and knowledgeable about South America, being born and raised in Chile; I speak the language and understand the cultures of Latin America. I have also traveled extensively throughout Mexico and Central America. Japan is another area that I am very familiar with due many trips to visit my son years ago. Spain and Portugal are also pretty well known to me. I’m happy to help you get to these destinations and others! Reach out anytime!
