Patty's Story
After 43 years in this industry, I’ve realized that I’m much more than just a travel consultant to my clients—I’m their partner. My favorite part of the job is putting your interests first, whether that means uncovering hidden savings or handling the tiny, overwhelming details so you can simply enjoy the journey. My path in travel began with Sales and Catering at Holiday Inn, which built the perfect foundation for my transition to Plaza Travel in 1995. Over the years, I’ve made a name for myself by specializing in customized corporate group bookings and entertainment travel, always staying at the forefront of the industry’s latest technology.
I am thrilled to share that I have recently started a new chapter as the General Manager of TravelStore’s Brentwood office, where I continue my commitment to excellence. Outside of work, my heart belongs to my family and my community. Born in Bogota, Colombia, but a U.S. resident since I was a baby, I am an incredibly proud mother of two sons who are both currently General Surgical Residents—one at Stanford and the other at Brandon Hospital in Florida. I also believe deeply in giving back to the travel industry; I currently serve as Vice President for SoCal ASTA and have previously had the honor of serving two terms as a Director at Large for ASTA National.
