Costa Rica Resorts: Andaz and Westin Playa Conchal

The Andaz is a beautiful resort is located in Culebra Bay on the western coast of Costa Rica.

Walking into an open air lobby with beautiful views of the bay on one side and the mountains in the backdrop definetly had a modern touch to welcome

The woodwork throughout the lobby and public areas adds an authentic feel to a modern style hotel. Rooms and suites were so spacious with attention to every detail . Rooms were equipped with modern amenities and touches and personalized to offer guests a beach bags, his and hers flip flops and even stylish hats to use on vacation. The furniture is laid out to beautifully and offered a very comfortable feel indoors and on the baclonies.

The views were truly breathtaking. The dining experiences offered foods of Costa Rica in three themed restaurants. Each restaurant offers guests flavors of the Latin American culture through its menu choices such as ceviche, quinoa and seafood plates with local fish such as fresh Tilapia. We had the pleasure to experience a tasting family style menu created by the chef.

It was hot and humid as expected but writing in golf carts that are available for guests to ride in was a great touch of service I really enjoyed.

The Spa at the Andaz is called ONDA which offers signature treatments. With some rooms having spectacular views from your own treatment beds and soaking tubs of Culebra Bat.

The therapists have the ability to create a personalized experience welcoming each guest with ancient tea upon arrival. The spa uses local therapeutic products to enhance your experience of Costa Rica.

The Andaz is a perfect place for couples or friends to experience together for a very memorable experience which I will definetley consider for my clients as well as my family and friends.

The Westin Playa Conchal

is a large all inclusive resort on 2,400 acres, There is a lagoon-style pool, a Fitness Studio, tennis courts, and championship golf. Westin® Kids Club,

Experiencing culinary choices at the Westin was a true culinary experience, the buffet style dining with endless choices of sweet and savory items and grills were of great quality and taste.

And the fresh juice and smoothie station in an open air style dining experience. There are also Italian, Asian and local cuisine are also offered throughout the resort. We stayed at the private club level area that I highly recommended. rooms are set in a special part of the resort offering a special concierge service for guests to be pampered on their vacation and golf carts are arranged for the club guests to get around more comfortably.

The Westin was truly a stress free, no worry vacation as we relaxed in one of the beautiful pools enjoyed signature cocktail or 2 in beautiful Playa Conchal area of Costa Rica. This is a great choice for families and anyone who wants a few days of beach and relax style of stay to add for a few days as part of your adventure in Costa Rica vacation.
