Voyaging aboard Regent Seven Seas Mariner

Let’s hear it for a truly all inclusive luxury cruise vacation! Now, you can have it all! Cocktails, specialty restaurants, gratuities, transfers, air fares & free unlimited shore excursions! With TravelStore’s bonus amenities, you would have a shipboard credit to go shopping in the gift shop or have treatments in the Canyon Ranch Spa!

Regent Seven Seas Mariner is 100% suites, all with balconies.

There are five dining choices onboard. The main dining room is Compass Rose, where you have a variety of dishes to choose from, and wine being poured to your heart’s content. Vegetarian, Kosher and Spa menus are also available.

La Veranda is a bit more laid back than Compass Rose, situated on the aft deck to watch amazing sunsets. The cuisine is Italian, and it delivers.

The biggest difference in service here is you order entrees from a menu while salad and appetizer and desserts are available buffet style.

There are two specialty restaurants: Signatures and Prime 7. Signatures, a French restaurant, is lovely and romantic. The food was delish! Reservations are required, but no worries if you reserve specialty restaurants online before you board! Prime 7 was my absolute favorite onboard! Featuring traditional steak house cuisine, complete with creamed spinach! It was to die for!

I look forward to dining in Prime 7 the next time I sail on Regent Seven Seas! And I can’t wait!

Up on deck one evening there is a huge BBQ, featuring all of the chefs and dining crew. Both sides of the deck were set up with salads, sushi, raw bar, pasta, roast pig, roast beef, and yummy deserts. Then the band began to play and the ship just danced the night away!

Upon return to the ship while docked in Civitavecchia (the port for Rome) there was a huge welcome home sign on the side of the ship, a band playing, and the staff applauding each and every guest as they returned to the ship. My sister and I felt like Hollywood A-listers! Autographs anyone?

There are several venues onboard Mariner for socializing including the Coffee Connection for fresh lattes and espresso all day and nigh; ,the Horizon Lounge, where live entertainment performs nightly; the Observation Lounge, where the piano is played most nights; the Stars Lounge for disco; the Mariner Lounge for before or after dinner drinks; and the Connoisseur Club, a place where cigars are in fashion.

Regent Seven Seas delivers luxury and will not disappoint. The value is in the inclusiveness of this cruise line, and the level of service you receive…priceless! The thought of not worrying about additional expenses while on vacation makes it an even more relaxing vacation.
