A Legend Reopens in Paris

Without a doubt, one of the world’s most beloved cities is Paris, France. The city always enchants. When it comes to accommodations, there is no lack of choice. Last year the big news was the opening of the Peninsula Paris hotel. This year it’s the reopening of the storied Ritz Paris.

In 1898 The Ritz Paris first opened its doors and became one of Paris’ leading luxury hotels. The sole hotel located on the Place Vendome, it is steeped in history and has hosted more celebrities and heads of state than any other hotel in Paris. The Ritz Paris was closed for major refurbishment, and just reopened in June, featuring completely upgraded and well-appointed, spacious rooms and suites.

We had the opportunity to visit the Ritz Paris before opening and were so impressed. It seems no expense was spared. There are nearly four staff for each room, assuring the highest level of service. The hotel now features three restaurants and as many bars, including the famous Bar Hemingway, while tea is served in Salon Proust.

The gardens and terraces are a welcome feature in Paris and an oasis in the center of the city.  In addition, the Ritz offers its own cooking school.  A Chanel Spa is scheduled to open soon, while the swimming pool and fitness spaces are open now.

We’re proud to include Ritz Paris in our Signature Hotel & Resorts program, promising you the best value with our included amenities when you reserve with TravelStore:
