Marcia's Story
My original career path was in social work, but after several years in this field, I realized that I was not going to be happy with that choice. Coincidentally, about the same time, a travel school opened in our community. I jumped in, completed the course of study and went right to work for a local agency, thus satisfying a long-suppressed desire to work in the industry and to satisfy my desire to travel.
Having spent 30+ years in travel, my desire to help people plan travel has only increased. It is satisfying to meet with new clients who have never traveled before and to help them plan a first trip abroad. From those first trips, I have established many long and fulfilling relationships with clients and helped them decide where they will travel next. I learn so much from researching a destination that I have not yet visited, and I use this knowledge to help others. It’s a wonderful journey.
