The reopened Antiquarium near Naples, Italy, showcases items from this ancient Roman city destroyed in 79 A.D. by a volcanic eruption from Mount Vesuvius. The space features amazing frescoes and various objects from daily life.

Pompeii's Antiquarium was first opened in 1873 and later damaged during WWII.  The museum had reopened but was closed following damage in the 1980 earthquake. The museum reopened in 2021.
