Off the coast from Hiroshima is a small island, Okunoshima, that at one time was where mustard gas was being produced. Today the island is now known for it rabbits that have overrun it. There are said to be between 700 – 1000 bunnies on Okunoshima. While fun and friendly, especially when fed,  the rabbits are a contrast to the Poison Gas Museum on the island that documents the terror of chemical warfare.
