Dotschi's Story
I took my first transatlantic flight at two years old. It was the beginning of a long relationship with travel. I started out in the hotel industry during and after college, which gave me a solid foundation in hospitality and customer service. From there, moving into the role of a travel consultant felt like a natural next step—and it’s been a perfect fit ever since. I’ve been a travel consultant since 1981. Over the years, I’ve seen trends come and go, but the joy of helping people explore the world has never changed. I love crafting detailed itineraries where I can tap into my experience to recommend unique hotels and one-of-a-kind experiences. The more tailored and thoughtful, the better. The first trip I ever planned for myself was a European tour after college. I had little money but plenty of time—and I quickly learned how to spot what’s truly worthwhile. That experience sparked my lifelong love for meaningful travel. I recently visited Guatemala—it’s been on my list for a long time. Having explored many Mayan cities in Mexico, I was eager to experience Tikal and Copán firsthand. It was everything I hoped for and more.
I love turning ideas into real, memorable journeys. Helping someone see a place they’ve always dreamed of—or discover somewhere they’d never thought to go—is incredibly rewarding. Travel is personal, and I enjoy making each trip feel just right for each traveler.
