The magnificent Geirangerfjord overlooking the striking Hellesylt waterfall and sheer cliffsides that plunge to Horindalsvannet, Europe's deepest lake (nearly 2,000ft) is the starting point of our excursion into the wonderful nature of Norway. A cross-country excursion between Hellesylt and Geiranger offers a glimpse of some of Norway's most spectacular mountain scenery. We also drive to Dalsnibba. If time allows we pass Eagles road. The Eagle Road is the name given to the steepest stretch of road up the mountain side towards Gerianger. The road turns through 11 hairpin bends up to the Geirangerfjord from the highest point 620 meters above sea level.
