Picton - 6 hrs - The Food Source Helicopter Excursion
Itinerary Overview:
Enjoy a unique cuisine heli-adventure showcasing some of New Zealand’s freshest produce and finest locations. Lift off and enjoy a breathtaking scenic flight over Nelson’s mountain ranges destined for Marlborough Wine Country. There you’ll land for a personal tour with the winemakers, taste the fabulous range and select a variety of wines to match your gourmet lunch to come. The next part is up to you: choose whether you would like to source your product from the Sea or Land:

From the Sea, fly over the tranquil Marlborough Sounds and land at a remote beach where you can source fresh seafood direct from the ocean. On a quiet beach your personal Michelin trained and award winning chef “Matt Bouterey” will prepare your catch and create a sumptuous feast for you to enjoy. Matt will share tricks of the trade so you can go home armed to recreate your experience or take a stroll along the beach and soak in the surrounds.

From the Land, fly over the famous Wairau Valley to Spray Point Station where you will land, meet the farmers and collect your export quality meat to be prepared by chef ‘Matt Bouterey’. Relax with a glass of wine, enjoy the surroundings and interact with Matt while he prepares a sumptuous three course lunch.
Feeling thoroughly satisfied enjoy stunning views of Nelson’s National Parks on your return flight.
