The Hawea is a grade two river with a mix of fun rapids and deep blue and green swimming holes, numerous secluded picnic spots, rock jumps, and swings. Swim, paddle, and laugh your way downstream. A gourmet cooked lunch awaits with the region’s finest beverages and fresh juices. After lunch, continue with stops for swings and small rock jumps.

Lake Hawea is one of New Zealand's larger lakes. At the "take out," you will be transferred the short distance back to base to get changed and enjoy some chilled refreshments before being driven back to your accommodation in Queenstown, with wonderful shared memories.
