Seeing Michelangelo’s David for the first time was unforgettable. I was mesmerized by his perfection – utterly captivated with his majesty; in that moment, time stood still. This experience has stayed with me throughout my life; I am far richer for having seen the David. To this day, I cannot return to Florence and not visit the Academia.
