Lori's Story
I first fell in love with travel watching my grandparents’ slide show photos from Japan, Africa & Europe that opened my eyes as a child to the vastness of the world and how differently people live. That spark led me to start my career in 1996, and I’ve been immersed in the travel industry ever since – navigating the evolution of agency practices and adapting to global changes that shape how people explore. For me, planning trips isn’t just logistics – it’s about transforming those ‘world is big’ moments into memorable experiences for others.
Some of my very first travels—to Africa and Bali—were endlessly fascinating and inspiring. From the wildlife and rich customs to the vibrant dance and stunning landscapes, each place captivated me. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to explore many more destinations, both on land and by sea, and I truly enjoy both styles of travel. Recent highlights include the breathtaking Galápagos Islands, the charming waterways of European rivers, and journeys aboard both small expedition vessels and grand ocean liners. My bucket list continues to grow as I plan trips for clients to places that ignite that same spark in me—and I can’t imagine my career ever ending, which excites me more than ever!
