Ryan's Story
Expanding your comfort zone can be read two ways: either exploring new cultures and terrain, or finding a relaxing, rejuvenating space to unwind. One is opening yourself up to new adventures and flavors; the other is pampering yourself in luxurious ways.
Either way you look at it, when you return from travel, you bring home stories, perspectives, and wellness that enhance your life.
I’m a firm believer that almost nothing is more important than travel.
For nearly a decade, I’ve designed and led road cycling trips in the French Alps and Italy. I am an avid snowboarder and skier. I love resort life and visit as many mountains as I can each season.
My more relaxing trips comprise lounging seaside, birding in nature, or eating my way through the local cuisine of a city. My favorite thing is laughter over a good meal with locals, even if it’s just the waitstaff.
I make great efforts to talk to as many people as I can when I travel, regardless of language. One thing I’ve learned is that if you are polite, interested, and smile, people want to share with you their part of the world, and “barriers” are dropped.
No matter what, we humans have nearly everything in common.
I’m a lover of music and cinema and find inspiration in both to dream about going places.
Here, at TravelStore, my focus is on you, the traveler. I’ll handle the logistics, so let’s talk about what you’re looking forward to. Cycling up famous cols of the Tour de France? Carving first tracks from your slopeside lodge? Spa treatments with an ocean breeze? A Tuscan gastronomic journey with a private chef? Whatever it is, I’m here to get you there.
